Building menus and menu cycles has never been simpler for a school district. The application automatically loads each members detailed purchase history including the distributor item number, manufacturer item number, description, description, nutrient information and preparation instructions. Members post and share recipes and menus within the group. Manufacturers may elect to become sponsors of the application and post their recipes to aid members and encourage use of their products.
Reporting and Forecasting
Manufacturers may obtain detailed reporting on both past sales and planned usage in the cycle menu application. This sales history and forecasting provides manufacturers with market share analysis to highlight gaps in their sales penetration. By enabling visibility into items contained within the future meal plan, suppliers can both better predict demand for the coming months and spot sales opportunities where they are not the chosen supplier for a particular product or product group.
